The Alaska Performance Scholarship is a prestigious award for Alaskan residents who have graduated from and excelled in their high school curriculum (including homeschoolers). To be eligible, students must have received a minimum 2.5 high school GPA and performed well on a college or career readiness exam. The scholarship can be used at any accredited college or university in Alaska, or for approved career and technical education programs within the state. However, students must use the scholarship within 6 years of high school graduation and cannot receive the award for more than 8 semesters.
