AIAA Foundation Orville and Wilbur Wright Award applicants must be enrolled in any accredited college or university worldwide and must be a current AIAA Student member in good standing. The applicant must submit two (2) professional letters of recommendation: one (1) letter from an academic reference and one (1) letter from a career reference. Applicants should also submit a 1-3 page, double-spaced research description with clear definitions of any research hypotheses, approaches, objectives and the benefits of research. The applicant should be able to succinctly describe their research and research objectives. A resume or CV highlighting any professional experiences, extracurricular activities, awards/certifications, etc. may be submitted.
