Offered by American Academy of Periodontology Foundation
The AAP Foundation Schoor Research Award is for full-time residents, as of the application deadline, in an accredited U.S. periodontal program in any year of residency. Co-applications are acceptable only if equal contribution to the research project by each student is confirmed by the graduate program director and the number of co-applicants should be limited to two. Applicants must submit their current CV and a manuscript written by them as the sole or principal author based on their research. Please visit the scholarship’s website for more information.

The American Academy of Periodontology Foundation, a public charity, serves the community of periodontal caregivers and patients. The mission of the AAP Foundation is to improve the periodontal and general health of the public through increasing public and professional knowledge of periodontal diseases and their therapies, stimulating basic and clinical research to generate new knowledge, and enhancing educational programs at all levels to create opportunities in periodontal education and practice.
