Are you a college-bound, graduating high school senior pursuing planning on pursuing a degree in education? If so, you may be eligible for the AACIA Graduating Senior Scholarship! Each year, the scholarship awards $1,000 to up to five rising college freshman who are aspiring teachers. To apply, interested students must submit a completed application to Rachel Blocker at [email protected] or by mailing their application to 219 S. Victory Street, Little Rock, AR 72201. The application should include students’ personal information, activities and work experiences, special awards and honors, and future career endeavors. The Arkansas Association of Educational Administrators (AAEA) was incorporated over 40 years ago with the goal of seeking continual improvement in the quality of education and educational leadership in Arkansas. To this end, AAEA has committed itself to supporting school leaders through legislative representation, advocacy, and professional learning opportunities. AAEA is an umbrella association with thirteen constituent educational administrator organizations.
