The Jeanne Spurlock Lecture and Award on Diversity and Culture by AACAP celebrates those who have made exceptional strides in promoting diversity and culture in children’s mental health. To be considered for the award, individuals must have worked to advance the understanding of diversity and culture in children’s mental health, and who will contribute to the recruitment into child and adolescent psychiatry from all cultures. In addition, they must be nominated by a nominator who submits a statement of nomination (500 words or less) and a biographical statement or CV about the applicant/nominee. Recipients of the award will be granted a $1,000 stipend.
