Liberty University Scholarships & Financial Aid 2020-2021
Will Geiger is the co-founder of Scholarships360 and has a decade of experience in college admissions and financial aid. Liberty University is one of the largest private, non-profit universities in the world (and in fact, it is the largest in the United States). Most of Liberty’s 100,000+ students are online, but there are about 15,000 at their Lynchburg, Virginia campus.
Academically, Liberty offers students a wide variety of options in 17 colleges including nearly 300 bachelor’s degrees. Students can study everything from business to cybersecurity to pre-med to nursing to liberal arts to computer science and engineering.

Liberty University scholarships
Liberty offers a number of different merit scholarships to both online and residential students. These scholarships range from $1,500 per year up to full tuition. Best of all, the Liberty University scholarships are all renewable for four years!
Below is a chart that shows the scholarships that you will be eligible for at Liberty based on your GPA and standardized test scores. Note that all GPAs are recalculated by the admissions office and are unweighted. This is very helpful for students who want to estimate the amount of merit scholarships they might receive.

Liberty University need-based financial aid
In addition to their merit scholarships, Liberty offers need-based financial aid to students as well. In order to quality for need-based financial aid students must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA.
