Each year, the scholarship awards $1,000 to one lucky, amateur bowler and college student. Are you a high school member of the United States Bowling Congress with bowling, academic, and extracurricular achievements or involvements? Further, are you a member of a recognized interscholastic high school bowling club? If so, consider applying for the United States Bowling Congress Dexter All-American Team Scholarship! Each year, the scholarship awards $1,000 to five male applicants and five female applicants. One such applicant will also receive the Bud Clapsaddle Award and an additional $500. The Fisher Cats Foundation Scholar-Athlete Scholarships annually award $1,500 to 15 college-bound high school seniors from New Hampshire or specific Northern Essex County Massachusetts schools (see eligible schools under "Eligibility Information"). Recipients will be selected using criteria that include academic achievement, athletic achievement, and active citizenship. To apply, interested students must submit a Statement of Commitment (Academic) from a school counselor, the contact info for two references, and a 2-3-minute video in which they answer "How has participation in high school athletics shaped your life?" Are you a non-professional USBC (United States Bowling Congress) member under the age of 20 who has been actively involved in the sport of bowling and its community? If so, the USBC Youth Ambassador of the Year award may be a great opportunity for you! Each year, one male and one female Non-Professional USBC member who have not reached their 20th birthday by August 1st are recognized for their exemplary contributions to the sport of bowling outside of league or tournament play, academic accomplishments, and community involvement. Each award winner will receive a $1,500 scholarship and an expenses-paid trip to the awards ceremony held in conjunction with the USBC Convention in the spring.
