From Tulane
Since its founding in 1834, Tulane University has blazed trails as an educational and research institution. Its five main undergraduate schools – Architecture and Built Environment, Business, Liberal Arts, Public Health and Tropical Medicine, and Science & Engineering – push boundaries with exciting interdisciplinary academics that engage students in world-changing endeavors, all under the umbrella of Newcomb-Tulane Undergraduate College. This allows students to take classes in any school, regardless of their major. As the first major research university to require service-learning in the core curriculum, Tulane forms an inseparable bond with New Orleans, extending the classroom into a dynamic and opportunity-rich urban environment where students have an outsized impact.

Tulane provides millions of dollars in financial aid every year, and many of our students receive financial support with grants and scholarships ranging from $1,000 to up to the full cost of attendance.
All admitted students are automatically considered for merit scholarships. Numerous need-based awards are available through our Office of Financial Aid. Tulane requires both the FAFSA and CSS Profile to be submitted to be considered for all forms of need-based aid.

Tulane University of Louisiana Financial Aid
To apply for financial aid at Tulane you’ll need to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as well as the CSS Profile.
The FAFSA and CSS Profile use financial information from the prior, prior year. That means you can submit the forms even if you or your parents haven’t filed last year’s taxes.

The FAFSA is completely free, while the CSS Profile charges a fee for each college you send it to. If you have demonstrated financial need, you may qualify for a CSS Profile fee waiver.

Tulane participates in the Stamps Scholarship Program, which means that they offer recurring scholarships to select admitted students. These awards range between $6,000 to $90,000 per year. Many schools automatically consider admitted students for Stamps Scholarships. National Merit Scholarships
If you scored exceptionally high on the PSAT/NMSQT, you may have been named a National Merit Scholarship Finalist. Did you know that this distinction could earn you a scholarship at Tulane University of Louisiana? Tulane offers scholarship money to National Merit Scholarship Finalists, although terms may vary. Some schools require you to list them as your first choice in order to receive the benefit, and others may impose additional need-based or academic requirements.
