    Florida Southern’s premier Hollingsworth Scholarship, together with the McClurg and Christoverson awards, forms the Prestige Scholarship program, recognizing the top 10% of first-year applicants for their exceptional achievements, leadership, and promise. More than recognition, these awards make a life-changing education possible.

    Hollis Fellows in Education Scholarship

    As parents of a Florida Southern graduate, Mark and Lynn Hollis established the Hollis Fellows in Education Program to provide scholarships to education majors who plan to pursue teaching careers after completing a bachelor's and master's degree.

    George W Jenkins Scholarship

    "Each year, the George W. Jenkins Scholarship provides five academically talented students the opportunity to study at Florida Southern College free of economic encumbrances. To be considered, students must:
    Be entering Florida Southern College as a first-time freshman.
    Be admitted to Florida Southern by the application deadline.
    Have attained a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale in college preparatory subjects.
    Submit a completed FAFSA and demonstrate financial need as determined by FSC's Financial Aid Office.
    Submit a Jenkins Scholarship Essay with significant emphasis on what special circumstances you have faced, specifically detailing your long history of facing and overcoming significant adversity."
