Florida International University Scholarships

Ambassador Premier Scholarships

This scholarship covers 75% of tuition and fees, plus a book stipend for four years of college. This is a competitive student and requires a 4.0 GPA and 1280 SAT or 27 ACT.

Bright Futures Scholarship

The Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program awards merit-based scholarships to Florida high school graduates. It covers tuition and fees at eligible Florida colleges and universities. There are different scholarship tiers with varying requirements based on GPA, test scores, and community service hours. Students must file the Florida Financial Aid Application (FFAA) to be considered.

The grant can cover up to 100% of your educational expenses if you qualify for Florida Academic Scholars.

Students who are applying for financial aid at Florida International University need to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (or FAFSA).The FAFSA opens up on October 1st, and students should apply as soon as they can! The FAFSA uses financial information from the prior, prior year which means that you don’t need to wait for the year to end and can use last year’s financial information.

Pell Grants at Florida International University
