University of Southern California Scholarships
The University of Southern California or USC is the oldest private research university in California and one of the top institutions in the country. USC is also known as having a strong alumni network–when you become a student at USC you are part of the “Trojan Family” (the Trojan is the USC mascot). Financial aid at the University of Southern California includes merit scholarships and need-based scholarships.
Need-based Financial Aid
USC offers a robust need-based financial aid program. The University is also committed to meeting 100% of demonstrated financial aid for admitted students. In order to apply for financial aid, students will need to submit the FAFSA and CSS Profile (students from California can also apply for a Cal Grant, which is a special award for in-state residents).
There are also USC scholarships for high-achieving students that range from a few thousand dollars per year to full tuition! The USC admissions office has put together a handy chart to show students all of the different USC scholarships available.
USC also has specific departmental awards for students who are studying accounting, architecture, business, journalism, communications, engineering, music, social work, and several other academic areas.
