Skechers $100000 Scholarship winners jump as they graduate

The Skechers Foundation provides $300,000 in scholarships to support 60 high-achieving high school seniors. This scholarship program comprises four individual scholarship programs:

Who is eligible to apply for the Skechers Scholarships?

To be eligible for the Skechers Scholarships, students must be high school seniors who have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Students also must be planning on attending a two- or four-year accredited college/university, technical, or vocational education program. Additionally, three of the scholarships have additional eligibility requirements:

    • The SKECHERS Athletic Performance Scholarship is only open to students who are playing a sport at the collegiate level.
    • The SKECHERS Financial Hardship Scholarship requires students to have demonstrated financial need.
    • The SKECHERS Promising Leaders Scholarship is open to students who have a track record of leadership in their school or community.

How do I apply for the Skechers Scholarships?

Students can apply to each of the scholarships directly with their Scholarships360 profile. Each application will include 1-2 essay questions and short answers that students will need to complete.

Each scholarship application will also include an “additional information” section where students can share any circumstances that may have impacted their high school experience. This is optional but gives students the opportunity to share extra information with the scholarship committee.

    When is the scholarship deadline?

The deadline for the scholarships is April 15, 2026 at 11:59 pm EST.

    How are scholarship winners selected?

The scholarship committee will be considering a variety of criteria, including academic performance, essay responses, and financial need when selecting scholarship recipients.

How will the scholarship be disbursed to students?

All scholarship checks will be sent directly to the students’ college or university financial aid office.

Can students apply to multiple Skechers Scholarships?

Yes, assuming a student is eligible, students are able to apply to all four Skechers Scholarships. However, students may only receive one scholarship.

    When are Skechers scholarships awarded?

The winners of the Skechers scholarships will be announced by May 22, 2026.

Can international students apply for Skechers scholarships?

Only U.S. Citizens can apply for the Skechers scholarships.

What documents do I need to apply for the Skechers scholarships?

To apply for the Skechers Scholarships, students will need to attach a copy of their most recent transcript (this can be an unofficial transcript that ideally includes grades from senior year) and their high school profile.

A high school profile provides additional information about your school’s curriculum. In most cases your high school’s guidance counselor should be able to provide this short document, but in some cases (e.g. homeschooled students) you might need to work with teachers/counselors to put one together. Check out this helpful resource with a sample high school profile.

Should I fill out the optional personal statement?

The optional personal statement on the Skechers scholarships is for students to explain extenuating circumstances that may have affected their high school performance. You should fill out this statement if you experienced some kind of hardship that affected your high school performance. Examples of this could include:

    • Providing childcare for a sibling
    • Working to help support your family
    • Illness in the immediate family
    • Being diagnosed with a learning disability
    • Health problems
