Are you a 5th – 12th-grade honor student who is competitive in one or more sports at their school or a private sports club? Further, are you involved in a volunteer organization or charity? If so, the TWF Scholar Athlete Scholarship may be a great opportunity for you! Each year, the scholarship awards various amounts of money to five (5) recipients who submit (1) an ~1,000-word essay about “how [their] athletic and/or academic goals have been impacted by the community you live in”, [their] personal background, financial considerations, [their] professional goals, how the scholarship would help [them], and [their] history of volunteerism and (2) a video reel highlighting their sports achievements. The Walls Family Scholar Athlete Foundation (TWF) was established in 2006 to recognize and reward scholar athletes who demonstrate exceptional academic ability and strong leadership skills as well as within their communities. Their primary goal is to celebrate and support the MVP’s in the classroom and in the locker room who are defining their future and creating a powerful and positive impact on the lives of others in their community.
In addition to meeting the below eligibility criteria, applicants must be involved in a volunteer organization or charity.
