Minorities have been historically underrepresented in the accounting field. If you’re an undergraduate or graduate minority student who has a passion for accounting and wishes to reverse this trend – look no further! The Thomas M. Berry Jr. Scholarship may be the perfect opportunity for you.
To qualify for the $3,000 scholarship, individuals must be a minority undergraduate or graduate student who is pursuing an accounting degree at a Virginia college or university. Applicants must also have a minimum 2.7 GPA, intend to pursue a CPA license, and be a member of the Virginia Society of CPAs (membership is free for students). Two (2) students will be awarded the scholarship each year.
