Clemson University is a nationally recognized school known for its top-notch academics and competitive sports teams. More than that, however, the school hosts a wide range of curricula and majors/minors for students of all interests – including political and legal theory! If you’re an incoming Tiger interested in studying political and/or legal theory, the Lyceum Scholars Program may be the perfect opportunity for you.
The Lyceum Scholars Program’s purpose is to teach students “the moral, political, and economic foundations of a free society.” Each year, selected scholars will be required to enroll in an “integrated, eight-course sequence that they will take together as an intellectual cohort.” Scholars who complete these courses and maintain other eligibility criteria will be awarded the “Political and Legal Theory” minor. In addition, they will receive a $60,000 scholarship (disbursed over four years).
If you think you’d be a good candidate for this scholarship, we encourage you to apply! Plus, don’t forget to check out other political science scholarships offered through Scholarships360. Good luck with your scholarship search!
