Charlie Shor, the passionate entrepreneuer and owner of Duro Bag, knows all too well what it is like to live with epilepsy. Having faced his first seizure at just 25 years old, he has spent approximately the past 10 years trying to improve the quality of life for his fellow individuals who suffer from epilepsy. This includes the creation of The Charles L. Shor Epilepsy Opportunity Fund, which awards scholarships to help undergraduates with epilepsy fund their higher education.
To be considered for the scholarship, individuals must be able to provide documentation of their epilepsy diagnosis and treatment, in addition to a copy of their government-issued ID, a transcript, and their current year FAFSA Submission Summary OR Previous year IRS Form 1040. The amount of money that each scholarship recipient receives will vary depending upon their financial need.

This scholarship is open to students who meet the eligibility criteria below:
HS Seniors, College Freshmen, Sophomores & Juniors
Applicants must have been diagnosed with epilepsy.
