The Ari-Luis Demetrio Cordova Memorial Scholarship (ALDC) was established for graduating high-school seniors in El Paso County with dyslexia. Students pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree, Associate Degree, or Vocational school may apply. The family of Ari-Luis established this scholarship after he passed away at 34 in January 2023.
The Paso del Norte Community Foundation (PDNCF) is a public charity based in El Paso, Texas, dedicated to improving the quality of life in the binational region, including West Texas, Southern New Mexico, and Ciudad Juárez. Established in 2013, it manages over 200 philanthropic funds, supporting education, health, and community projects.
In addition to meeting the eligibility criteria below, applicants must be struggling or diagnosed with dyslexia. Applicants must also be pursuing an associates degree, bachelor's degree, or vocational or technical degree.
