    Scholarship Overview

Richard and Judith White were both integral parts of their local Hancock County, Indiana community. While Richard served as a successful business owner providing local services, Judith was a registered nurse. In honor of their many contributions to their fellow Hancock County residents, their children Keith White and Stephanie White Longworth established a scholarship fund to provide educational support to Hancock and Henry County graduating students.

To qualify for the scholarship, Hancock and Henry County high school seniors must have a minimum 2.0 GPA and be in pursuit of or plan to pursue a post-secondary education credential, including trade and technical certifications, and associate’s and/or bachelor’s degrees. Preference may be given to active and past employees or children or grandchildren of employees of a White Family-owned business, but it is not a requirement to apply. Community service, work ethic, and financial need will also be considered.

Four (4) applicants will be granted the $2,000 scholarship each year. If you sound like a fit for this scholarship, we encourage you to apply and explore other Indiana scholarships available through Scholarships360. Good luck with your scholarship search!
