    Scholarship Overview

    The Patina Network Community Scholarship Program aims to empower and support Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) women and allies. We hope to help foster education opportunities by providing this small boost of financial assistance to under-resourced New York State students who demonstrate academic potential, community engagement, and financial need.

    This scholarship is open to students of all backgrounds who demonstrate a commitment to Patina Network’s mission of empowering and supporting Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) women. Applicants must be currently enrolled in or accepted to an undergraduate program at an accredited post-secondary institution (college, university, or trade school) in the United States. Applicants must be based in New York State (attending a school located in New York State or having a home address in New York State), demonstrate financial need, and be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or DACA recipients.

    Recommendation Letter (10%) : Strength and relevance of recommendation letters.

    Extracurricular Activities (10%): Depth of community engagement and leadership.
