Offered by American Legion Auxiliary
Are you a member of the American Legion, Auxiliary, or Sons of The American Legion who is currently pursuing a postsecondary degree? If so, consider applying for the Non-Traditional Student Scholarship! The scholarship is open to members of the American Legion, Auxiliary, or Sons of The American Legion who are enrolled in two- or four-year degree programs. The scholarship is offered by the American Legion Auxiliary, an organization dedicated to helping its members continue their education after serving in the U.S. military. The American Legion Auxiliary honors and advocates for veterans and their families, promotes patriotism, and educates the youth. Every year, they award multiple $2,000 scholarships to help recipients pay for their degrees at their institutions of choice. If you are a member of the American Legion, Auxiliary, or Sons of The American Legion who is completing your education, we encourage you to apply!

Eligibility information
This scholarship is open to members of The American Legion, Auxiliary, or Sons of The American Legion. Applicants must have paid dues for the current and previous two years. Applicants must be pursuing training in a certified, trade, professional, or technical program, or a two-year or four-year degree program. Applicants must also meet the below eligibility requirements.
