Offered by Community Foundation of Hancock County
Margaret Johnson lived a long life, spanning 105 years, and left an incredible legacy. She spent many years as an educator, dedicated to helping others expand their knowledge and improve their lives. Thus, on her 100th birthday, her family established a scholarship in her honor to support female graduates of Mt. Vernon High School in Fortville, Indiana.
In addition to being female high school seniors attending Mt. Vernon High School, individuals must be planning to pursue a bachelor’s degree in education, business, and/or accounting to be eligible for the scholarship. Selection will be based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities, and community involvement. Financial need may also be considered. One recipient will be awarded the $3,160 scholarship each year.
If you sound like a fit for this scholarship, we encourage you to apply! But don’t stop there – there are many other Indiana scholarships, education scholarships, and business scholarships available through Scholarships360.
