Offered by Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country
Louella Beazley was a loving mother who witnessed how her stepson struggled to pay for medical school on top of completing his classwork and other school responsibilities. Thus, she established a scholarship to assist Kerr County high school seniors who were pursuing a degree in the medical field.
The Louella Beazley Memorial Scholarship awards up to $5,000 each to recipient(s) every year. To be eligible, individuals must be high school seniors from Kerr County, Texas who are pursuing a degree in medicine or nursing. Applicants must also have a minimum 3.0 GPA. The scholarship may be renewed upon maintenance of a 3.0 GPA and by submitting a copy of an official college transcript of their grades each year. Selection will be based on academic performance, extracurricular activities, community service, and financial need.
