Offered by Canisius University
The Lee Foundation Scholarship Fund was established in honor of Patrick Warn, a beloved former Navy man who courageously battled schizophrenia for over 35 years. In his memory, Patrick Warn’s father established the Lee Foundation Scholarship Fund to support Canisius University students who share Patrick’s knack for leadership and community involvement.
Eligible students must also be planning to major in computer science, data science, finance, or mathematics, be either in their freshman or junior/senior year at Canisius University, and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must complete the FAFSA and submit an ~1,000-word essay that describes: (1) why you want to pursue your academic field of study, and (2) illustrates how you exemplify the qualities of a Lee Scholar. Multiple applicants will be granted $10,000 each year to help fund their post-secondary educations.
