Synchronized swimming is a unique sport, blending artistry with athletics. It involves teams of swimmers performing coordinated, identical movements, set in time to music. If you are a registered member of the United States Synchronized Swimming (USSS) East Zone who will be participating in synchronized swimming at the collegiate level, the Community Foundation of Greater New Britain may have a perfect scholarship opportunity for you!
To qualify for the scholarship, individuals must be East Zone athletes registered with U.S. Synchronized Swimming. They must also be graduating seniors of local public high schools in the Foundation’s coverage area, which includes Berlin, New Britain, Plainville, and Southington in Connecticut. Lastly, interested students should be planning to participate in synchronized swimming at the varsity or non-varsity level in college.
