Have you had a parent left permanently disabled or deceased in an employment-related accident in Georgia? If so, you may qualify for the Kids’ Chance of Georgia Scholarship.
The scholarship annually awards up to $4,000 per year to multiple Georgia undergraduates who have endured the tragic loss or injury of a parent in a workplace incident. Bear in mind that such workplace accidents must meet the criteria of the Georgia Workers’ Compensation Act for students to qualify. Applicants must also be between 16 and 25 years old, have a minimum 2.0 GPA, and be enrolled as a student in a college or university.
