Growing up in Montrose, Colorado, Ken and Marlene Townsend developed a deep love and appreciation for their hometown. Wanting to give back to the community that they care for so much, they established their own scholarship to support the local youth of their community. If you’re a graduating Montrose High School senior with a minimum 3.0 GPA, the Ken and Marlene Townsend Scholarship may be a great fit for you!
In addition to being Montrose High School (Colorado) seniors, individuals must have been accepted at a four-year college or university, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and demonstrate financial need to be eligible. To apply, they must submit a transcript, resume, a letter of recommendation, a FAFSA Student Aid Report, proof of acceptance to a university, two essays, and a completed application.
