Offered by Curry College
Justin Hughes was a Curry College graduate whose life was tragically cut short not long after his graduation in the summer of 1996. To support Curry College students who, like Justin, participated in GEAR-UP or a community outreach program, the Justin Hughes Memorial Scholarship is awarded to multiple Curry College students each year.
To qualify for the scholarship, students must be returning Curry College students (non-freshmen) who have participated in at least one semester in the GEAR-UP Program or a similar community outreach program and who can commit to at least one semester of continued participation for each year they receive the award. Curry College students will be considered for the scholarship upon acceptance to the school – a separate scholarship application is not required. However, interested students are strongly encouraged to file the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
