This $10,000 scholarship was created in memory of John G. Blakesely who valued education and wanted to make sure others had the same opportunity. John studied economics and won notable math awards throughout his life.
Eligible students must be an Elkhart County, Indiana resident for a minimum of one year and a high school senior pursuing a degree in the field of mathematics or sciences. Additionally, students must have attained a notable achievement in the ACT/SAT math section and have completed honors math coursework.
If you do not live in Elkhart County, there are additional Indiana scholarships on Scholarships360 as well as general scholarships for students studying STEM.
