Offered by Arlington Community Foundation
International relations, political science, government, and history are all fields that require you to have a deep understanding of not only the interactions between people and countries but how these, cumulatively, can either embroil into larger conflicts or lead to long-lasting relationships. If you’re an Arlington County (Virginia) public high school student interested in any of these fields (or music), the Arlington Community Foundation may have the perfect opportunity for you!
Each year, the John and Priscilla Becker Scholarship awards $2,500 to an Arlington County Public high school senior planning to study international relations, political science, government, and/or history OR music in college. Financial need will be considered in selection for the scholarship, and it may be renewed so long as recipients maintain renewal criteria.
This scholarship is one of the many scholarships for Virginia residents, international studies scholarships, political science scholarships, and history scholarships that can be found on Scholarships360. If the John and Priscilla Becker Scholarship sounds like a good fit for you, we encourage you to apply and explore others that you could qualify for as well!
