Offered by Disabled American Veterans (DAV)
Have you spent time volunteering for disabled veterans? If so, consider applying for the Jesse Brown Memorial Youth Scholarship! The scholarship is open to students 21 and younger who have volunteered for at least 100 hours in service to veterans. These hours must have been accumulated at a VA medical center, under DAV’s Volunteer for Veterans Program, or through the Local Veterans Assistance Program (LVAP).
The Jesse Brown Memorial Youth Scholarship is offered by Disabled American Veterans (DAV), a nonprofit charity organization that supports veterans and their families by providing funds, employment, and other resources. The award is in honor of former DAV officer Jesse Brown, to continue his legacy of serving American veterans. Each year, the scholarship selects multiple lucky recipients to earn up to $20,000 each to go towards their tuition. Eligibility information
This scholarship is open to any volunteer aged 21 or younger who has volunteered for a minimum of 100 hours in service to disabled American veterans. Applicants must also meet the below eligibility requirements.
