Jacob Snively was a passionate 12-year-old who made the most of his life. He partook in Boy Scouts, had a great sense of humor, was beloved by many family and friends, and had a great passion for many arts – including playing the guitar and drawing. At the time of his passing, he attended Avonworth Middle School in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. If you, like Jacob, have an appreciation for the arts and hail from Allegheny County, the Jacob Snively Memorial Scholarship may be a great scholarship opportunity for you.
To qualify for the $2,000 scholarship, individuals must be Avonworth High School seniors who have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Applicants must also plan to attend a two- or four-year university and have an appreciation for the arts. However,, majoring in an art-related field is not required.
If this scholarship sounds like a good fit for you, and you’d like to carry on Jacob’s legacy, we encourage you to apply. Then, be sure to check out these arts scholarships and scholarships for Pennsylvania residents. Good luck with your scholarship search!
