Are you an incoming Illinois State University Redbird with a track record of community service? If so, the university would like to reward you for your efforts!
Each year, the ISU Civil Engagement Scholarship awards $1,000 to community-minded, incoming Illinois State University (ISU) freshmen and transfer students. To be eligible, students must have accumulated 100+ community service hours since beginning high school and have applied for admission to ISU by the priority deadline (November 1st for Summer & Fall applicants; August 1 for Spring applicants). Students must be sure to also complete the scholarship application (due February 1st for freshmen or March 15th for transfers) to be considered for the scholarship. The scholarship may be renewed through the remainder of the recipients’ undergraduate careers, with continuous enrollment in 12 credit hours or more per semester.
