Offered by Oklahoma City Community Foundation
Horace Stevenson was a longtime owner of a McDonald’s franchise located in Oklahoma City. In addition to having plenty of business savvy, he strongly believed that “the key to any community is education.” Thus, he established a scholarship to support local youth looking to attend college.
To qualify for the Horace Stevenson Scholarship, applicants must be graduating seniors attending Capitol Hill, Crooked Oak, Douglass, Millwood, Southeast, or U.S. Grant High School in Oklahoma. They should also be active in community service and plan to attend an accredited two- or four-year university upon high school graduation.
