Offered by Community Foundation of North Central Washington
Hal Newman was a Wenatchee High School student who sadly passed away. His family created a scholarship in his honor for students who closely resemble traits their son possessed. Hal was a National Honors Society member as well as an incredible music student. He was a part of the Chamber Singers group and had the starring role in many of his high school theater productions.
To honor Hal, this $3,000 scholarship is available to a graduating senior of Wenatchee High School in Washington. Additionally, applicants will need to be majoring in the field of vocal or instrumental music or a related field at an accredited four-year college. A winner will be selected based on a combination of financial need, scholastic achievement and musical ability.
The Hal Newman Memorial Music scholarship is one of many scholarships for music students that can be found through Scholarships360. Don’t miss out – apply for scholarships today to secure financial aid for your future!
