George and Icy Vaughn were a loving couple from Hancock County, Indiana who shared a love for the performing arts. They especially appreciated the performers who would come and entertain residents of the nursing home where they spent their last few years. To share their admiration for the performing arts, the couple left their estate to establish a scholarship to support Hancock County high school students who are musicians.
To qualify for the scholarship, individuals must be graduating high school seniors at a public Hancock County, Indiana high school, have achieved a minimum 2.5 GPA in their first semester of senior year, and be involved in music either through school participation or individually. Lastly, applicants must plan to pursue a full-time baccalaureate course of study at an accredited college or university.
