Mesa County, Colorado, is the home of multiple national parks, such as the Mesa Verde National Park, which hosts some of the best-preserved Ancestral Puebloan cliff dwellings in all of North America, various other outdoor recreation opportunities, and approximately 161,000 residents. If you are a native of Mesa County and are pursuing a career that does not require a four-year college degree, the Fresh Start Vocational Scholarship would like to help you out!
The scholarship annually awards up to $5,000 to such Mesa County residents who wish to attend a community college, technical school, or a training course. The scholarship may be used to cover the cost of training, tools, books, and other expenses, including room and board.
