Frank B. Farr Jr. was a scholar and athlete at South Lake High School in Groveland, Florida. He was a beloved son, friend, and athlete who demonstrated impressive sportsmanship and a variety of skills on and off the field. If you, like Frank, are a student at South Lake High School who has dreams of attending college, the Frank B. Farr Jr. Scholarship may be a great fit for you!
To qualify for the scholarship, worth up to $2,000 per student, individuals must have been a student at South Lake High School for at least one full school year and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. The awardee of this scholarship is able to re-apply for up to three years if he or she continues to be enrolled as a full-time student and maintains the minimum GPA. This scholarship may be used at any accredited vocational-technical school, community college, 4-year college or university. Recipients are chosen for their demonstration of financial need, character, and leadership qualities.
