If you’re a Garland Independent School District (ISD) student in Texas who has participated in and excelled in a bilingual studies/ESL program – you’re in luck!
The Elizabeth Anne Ala Scholarship annually awards up to $2,000 to one (1) Garland ISD high school senior who has taken part in a bilingual studies/ESL program. Applicants must also have a minimum 3.0 GPA and have achieved a 3.5 or greater cumulative GPA in all bilingual/ESL classes. The scholarship award may be used for tuition, fees, and books at any accredited college or university in the United States or its possessions.
