Although studying STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) can be notoriously hard, such fields are necessary. By ensuring that the technology used to power the devices, systems, and processes we use every day runs smoothly, STEM ensures the same for our society overall. If you are a Carter County, Tennessee resident planning to study a STEM field in college, the East Tennessee Foundation is offering a scholarship to commend your efforts!
Each year, their E.E. Perry Scholarship annually awards $10,000 to multiple Carter County (TN) public high school seniors majoring in science, math (not accounting or business-related), engineering, or pre-med fields of study. Applicants must also have a minimum 3.0 GPA, demonstrate financial need, and plan to enroll full-time at an accredited not-for-profit, public, or private college/university in Tennessee.
