For 35 years, Don Neuburger, an electrical engineer by training, served as the founder and CEO of Long Peaks Credit Union. He created the Credit Union in 1952 to serve the employees of the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation in northern Colorado. In honor of his longtime service to these employees and the community at large, the Board of Directors of the Longs Peak Credit Union established the Don E. Neuburger Memorial Scholarship. If you’re a high school senior at a Thompson School District high school in Colorado, this scholarship may be the perfect opportunity for you!
In addition to being graduating high school seniors attending an accredited high school in the Thompson School District in Colorado, applicants must be pursuing an associate’s or bachelor’s degree to be eligible for the scholarship. Each year, between $1,000 and $5,000 each will be awarded to recipients of this scholarship. If this sounds like a good opportunity for you, we encourage you to apply!
