Environmental studies is a broad field involving perspectives and principles from a variety of fields (e.g. humanities, physical sciences, social sciences) to address modern-day environmental issues. If you are a current or incoming undergraduate student pursuing a degree related to environmental studies, you’re in luck! The Dave Ellingson Scholarship for Environmental Studies may be the perfect scholarship opportunity for you.
To be eligible for the scholarship, individuals must be current or incoming undergraduates pursuing a degree related to environmental studies. They must be doing so at a college or university accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. Applicants must also have a minimum 2.5 GPA. The scholarship, worth $5,000 per year, may be renewed for an additional three years. In addition to the monetary reward, recipients will receive quarterly mentoring sessions with Dave Ellingson, an experienced environmental scientist.
