If you’re a resident of any of these 21 towns in the Greater Waterbury or Litchfield Hills area of Connecticut, you may be eligible for some of the 100+ scholarship opportunities offered by the Connecticut Community Foundation. The vast majority of these scholarships can be applied for through one general application. While general criteria require that applicants have a 2.75+ GPA, reside in an eligible town, and have a FAFSA Student Aid Index (SAI) below $30,000, bear in mind that specific scholarships may have additional, unique criteria.

The Connecticut Community Foundation, established in 1923, was created by and for the people of Greater Waterbury and the Litchfield Hills. The Foundation works to address the community's critical issues, funds programs benefiting local residents, supports efforts to improve systems to foster more equitable outcomes for residents, strengthens local organizations through learning and outreach, and works with individuals, families and corporations to steward charitable and scholarship funds.
