Offered by Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region
Wisconsin native Carol Johnson served the Clintonville Public School system as a second grade teacher at Bear Creek Primary School for 29 years, until her retirement in June of 2003. Teaching was a significant part of her life and she was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, an honorary society for women teachers. To honor Carol’s memory, this scholarship is offered annually to young people looking to launch their own careers in education.
To be eligible for this $1,000 scholarship (renewable for up to $2,000) applicants must be graduating seniors from Clintonville High School planning to pursue an elementary education degree at an accredited college or university located in Wisconsin. Recipients will be recommended each spring by the Clintonville High School Scholarship Selection Committee.
