A member of the Rio Americano High School class of 1986, Bryan Potts was a versatile student whose enthusiasm for living extended into all areas of his life. His qualities were much admired by his family and friends, and it is in remembrance of those qualities that the Bryan Potts Scholarship was established.
To be eligible for this $10,000 scholarship, applicants must be a graduating senior at Rio Americano High School with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5. Applicants must also demonstrate financial need and be accepted to an accredited educational institution in a field of study leading to a baccalaureate degree. To apply for this scholarship, students must submit a 250 word essay explaining how they share the qualities deemed important by Bryan’s friends and family. Applicants must also provide two letters of recommendation from individuals who are not related to the applicant.
