Offered by American Australian Association
Art is a universal language, transcending language and culture, and bringing people together despite their differences. Thus, if you’re an early-career artist from the United States or Australia who’d like to immerse yourself in the creative life and community of the other country, the American Australian Association would like to fund your artistic journey!
Every year, the American Australian Association Arts Fund Grants award up to $5,000 to United States and Australian citizens/residents who are undertaking or planning to undertake artistic development in either (a) the Australia to USA direction or (b) the USA to Australia direction. Any field of art is welcome, so long as recipients use the money toward travel, living, tuition, and other costs associated with artistic development abroad. The scholarship is awarded twice per year, with application cycles running from January 1 – March 31 and July 25 – September 30, annually.
If you’d like to flex your artistic muscles abroad, we encourage you to apply! Be sure to also check out these art scholarships, theater scholarships, and study abroad scholarships. Don’t miss out on this chance to turn your creativity into cash for college!
