The Thiel Foundation Fellowship Program is an very interesting opportunity for students (and is certainly dissimilar to the opportunities that Scholarships360 usually profiles). The Thiel Foundation was started by Peter Thiel, who most of you probably remember for The Social Network. Thiel was the co-founder of PayPal and a very successful technology entrepreneur and investor.
The 20 Under 20 Thiel Fellowship is a fellowship program that awards students $100,000 and mentoring from leaders in the technology industry. The fellowship lasts two years and Fellows pursue projects in the areas of “biotech, career development, economics and finance, education, energy, information technology, mobility, robotics, and space.”
Who is eligible to apply to the Thiel Foundation Fellowship Program?
Fellows must be under 23 years old–that’s it!

Thiel Fellows receive a $100,000 grant and support from the Thiel Foundation’s network of founders, investors, and scientists.
