The Miami HEAT and BankUnited are offering $25,000.00 in scholarship funds to high school seniors attending Miami-Dade, Broward, Monroe or Palm Beach schools. Scholarship applications are available each school year and recipients are awarded in May. This will be the nineteenth year that the Miami HEAT has offered scholarships.
Who is eligible to apply for the Miami Heat and BankUnited Scholarships?
Scholarships are awarded based on academic performance and outstanding community service. Financial need if considered.
How much are the scholarships worth?
- Three (3) $5,000.00 HEAT Scholarships
- One (1) $5,000.00 Dr. Jack Ramsay Scholarship
- One (1) $5,000.00 Alec Kessler Student-Athlete Scholarship
When is the scholarship application due?
This year’s application deadline is April 4, 2015.
