Scott Delgadillo College Scholarship
The Scott Delgadillo College Scholarship is through the Friends of Scott Foundation. This scholarship is in memory of Scott Delgadillo who passed away after a battle with cancer. This scholarship is aimed to support cancer patients who are currently or treatment or are survivors.
Who is eligible for this scholarship?
Students must be high school seniors who are accepted for enrollment at a two-year or four-year college/university.
This scholarship will be awarded to a cancer patient or cancer survivor and will also take into account financial need and personal hardship.
What does the scholarship application include?
The scholarship application can be found online and students must also submit:
- Copy of an acceptance letter from the college/university
- 2 letters of recommendation
- Signed statement from applicant’s attending physician verifying applicant’s medical history
- 500-word essay (the essay prompt is “How has my experience with cancer impacted my life.”
