\Dr. Seuss is one of my favorite authors. His books were always great to read as a child, but the lessons of them resonate even more as an adult.
One of his most famous and most insightful books was Oh, the Places You’ll Go! This book is about the future, and through Random House, a scholarship is offered to help pay for that future.
This is a great scholarship opportunity as the winner gets $10,000 to help pay for college!
Who is eligible for the Oh, the Places You’ll Go! College Scholarship?
The Oh, the Places You’ll Go! (OTPYG) Scholarship is for high school seniors who will be graduating in the spring of 2011. The only other stipulation is that applicants cannot be employed (or have family members employed) by Random House.

This scholarship is essay-based and requires applicants to write a one page letter (typed, double-spaced, and no more than 200 words) to someone who needs inspiration in their life. In this, applicants must utilize the themes of Oh, the Places You’ll Go!
