Who is eligible to apply for the Nordstrom Scholarship?
The $10,000 Nordstrom Scholarship is open to high school juniors who:
• Live and attend school in a state, U.S. territory, or Canadian province (Alberta or Ontario) with a Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack store. Not sure if there’s a store in your designated area? See store locations.
• Have at least a 2.7 GPA for US students or at least a 75% cumulative mark for Canadian students.
• Volunteer or participate in community service or extracurricular activities.
• Plan on attending an accredited college (Canadian stunts must attend college in Canada) during all four years over which the scholarship is distributed. (The scholarship is paid out in equal installments of $2,500.)
• Plan on applying for financial assistance in order to attend college if you are a US student.
What is the amount of the Nordstrom Scholarship?
Nordstrom offers $10,000 scholarships to 80 U.S. and Puerto Rican high school and 10 Canadian secondary school students to help them achieve their dreams of going to a four-year university.
When is the application due?
The application deadline is May 1, 2015 at 3:00PM Pacific Time.
